Our Senior TeamStephen Kirk – Chairman (Non-Executive)Stephen joined the board of Centric as Chairman in 2001 at the time of the MBI and investment from Alchemy Partners. A serial entrepreneur, Stephen founded Cable London Plc in 1984 with backing from 3i, and was the founding Managing Director of that business until 1986, remaining on the board as a Non-executive director until 1992. In 1986, he founded Broadsystem Ltd, a premium rate service business, and a pioneer in interactive television voting and competitions. Broadsystem was sold to News International in 1990, with who Stephen remained until 2000. Stephen currently holds 5 non-executive positions with a number of media and technology companies. Tom Humphries – Chief Executive Officerthumphires@centrictelecom.comTom led the team that acquired Centric telecom with the backing of Alchemy Partners, having previously joined eLink, a US based BLEC looking to launch a European start-up. Previously to this Tom had spent 5 years driving the BT DSL program through to launch and a few months working with Concert, the joint venture between BT and AT&T, as Director – Technical Marketing Tom came into the telecoms world from Plessey/Marconi where he had many roles including, Business Systems Analyst, Project Manager/Director and finally Deputy Managing Director. Andy Warren – Commercial Directorawarren@centrictelecom.comAndy is a founding board director of Centric Telecom. He trained in Finance and Commerce and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with Ernst and Young. He has broad national and international experience working at senior levels in Philips Electronics, Philips Media, British Telecom and Freeserve/Wanadoo. At British Telecom, Andy was the Investment Manager for DSL Broadband and the data strategy that became BT’s 21C Network. Andy has over 20 years of experience in business and finance and he has raised significant investment in private equity and venture capital for emerging businesses. He has also negotiated and managed the purchase and sale of companies ranging from £1m to £400m in value. Helen Mitchell – Finance Directorhmitchell@centrictelecom.comHelen joined Centric in 2004. She is the Finance Director and heads up the Human Resources team. Helen brings a broad background of experience from the Telecommunications sector. Helen’s other roles have included Finance Controller at COLT, Commercial Product Performance Manager for Interxion, Network Optimisation Finance Manager at Worldcom International and Financial Planning at British Telecom plc.
